I started looking into chemicals often found in hygiene goods, specifically period products. What many of us put close to our bodies monthly contains plastic, synthetics, and more. There are no standards or restrictions for using phthalates, parabens, bisphenols, or TCC in sanitary items.
My branding project, Artemis, examines the creation of brand identity through a multi-faceted investigation of the brand's expression across numerous media. It aims to open new ideas about period care while staying as healthy, organic, and transparent as possible.
Also inspired by The political slogan 'The personal is political, a common belief among feminists is that women's personal experiences are rooted in their political situation and gender inequality.
In terms of design, I explored the 1960s counterculture movement/lifestyle, an era of underground psychedelic poster culture and feminism.
